Wrapped doors and worktops are easy to keep clean. A few simple habits will keep them looking new for years.
The short answer
Wipe with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. That's all a wrapped kitchen needs day to day.
The first few days
Give the film a couple of days to fully settle before heavy cleaning, especially on edges and corners.
Steam and heat
Steam from kettles and ovens is the biggest cause of edges lifting. Move the kettle away from wall units where you can, and leave the oven door closed while it cools.
If something goes wrong
If an edge starts to lift or a door gets damaged, get in touch. Small issues are easy to fix early, and single doors can be rewrapped.
Keep it gentle
- Warm water with a little washing-up liquid
- A soft cloth or microfibre
- Dry off splashes around the sink and hob
- Use trivets and chopping boards
Avoid these
- Abrasive creams, scourers or bleach
- Solvents such as acetone or white spirit
- Steam cleaners on doors and edges
- Hot pans straight onto wrapped worktops
