Preparing for the work
Please clear worktops and give us access to the areas being wrapped. Cupboards do not need emptying. We will tell you in advance if anything needs to be removed.
Surfaces and suitability
We check surfaces at the survey and will tell you about any damage that needs repairing first. We cannot guarantee work over water-damaged, swollen or failing surfaces, or damage caused by moisture, heat or impact after fitting.
Colour and finish
Colours on screen are a guide only. We recommend confirming your choice from a physical sample. Natural-look films such as woodgrain and marble vary across a roll.
Guarantee
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion. Films carry the manufacturer’s own guarantee, typically up to 10 years for indoor use. That guarantee is provided by the manufacturer, not by Wrapcraft, and covers manufacturing defects such as yellowing, cracking and delamination. It does not cover wear and tear, impact, heat or cleaning damage, and is subject to the care instructions we provide. Expected life depends on how the surface is used and is not the same as the guarantee period.
Fire doors
We wrap fire door faces in fire-rated film and leave seals and intumescent strips clear. You are responsible for confirming which doors are fire doors and for informing your fire risk assessor of the refurbishment.
Complaints
If you are not happy with any part of the work, contact tim@wrapcraft.co.uk and we will put it right where we can.
